3 in 3

Hey everyone,

I'm sure most of you who are reading this blog have been following our season. Last weekend our streak of 20 consecutive games with a point came to and end as we suffered a pair of losses to Drummondville and Montreal.

The roadtrip started off with a bang as we beat the Quebec Remparts in front of 13000 fans at the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City. Having a playoff like atmosphere winning that game is something I will never forget. The next night we travelled to Drummondville to play the Voltigers. As much as the team talked about getting up for that game I really believe we were not ready to play. The Volts were so agressive. Credit to them, they took the game to us and we were playing from behind all night. Even though we were ahead 2-0 at one point they carried the play. Suffering a 3-2 loss in the final minutes of the game was tough to swallow. Again the team talked about regrouping and being ready for Montreal the next night, but we didn't act on those words. With the exception of the third period we were flat, unable to create a strong forcheck which has been one of our team's trademarks all season. Another 3-2 loss and we were on our way home.

No doubt we were dissapointed with our performances the last 2 games of the roadtrip. However over the course of a long season it is impossible to get better every game all year. Although it is our goal to improve every game we understand that there will always be setbacks. I firmly believe that with the character on this team we will find a way to regroup and renew our fire and passion friday night. Come out and cheer us on!

Matt

Your friday night game was GREAT!
But don't worry it's always a pleasure to see your team in action even if you're not the winners.....as you said you can't win every game!!!!
