Hopefully you have all noticed the awesome mustaches our team has been growing (or trying to grow) over the last month. This year our team decided to participate in an event called Movember. The goal of Movember is to raise money and awareness for men's health. Every year countless dollars are raised for breast cancer and woman's health while men's health goes mostly unnoticed.
During our next two home games fans will have a chance to vote for our team's "Man of Movember," the player on our team with the best mustache. Each vote will require a donation of 1 dollar to the Prostate Cancer Research Centre of Canada and fans will be able to vote as many times as they want. Fans who vote will be entered into a draw for a chance to win signed items from the team. Also, if we manage to raise 5000 dollars I will let that lucky fan shave my mustache. Now if that isn't a dream come true I don't know what is.
Come out and support our cause Friday and Sunday at the Coliseum and most importantly, make sure I get your vote for "Man of Movember."
